Also, we had many options for printing this book and we're quite thrilled to have partnered with
Penmor Lithographers whose most recent "green" initiatives include
becoming wind-power operated, FSC certified, use vegetable-based inks and are members of the Rainforest Alliance. They do
exceptional, high-quality work and have won the "Best of Show" award 2 out of the last 3 years at PINE (Printing Industries
of New England) annual awards ceremony held in Boston.
Penmor was started about 40 years ago by Joe Fillion and a partner. Over the years, he passed management duties onto his
children so it is both family-owned and family operated and supports local families and industries in Maine.
These are all aspects of this publication that are important to us as we seek to build community through creative
initiatives!
