things are falling into place

January 17, 2010

Hmm, twelve days? So maybe that took a bit longer than we anticipated-- the good news is that the final last tweaks have been addressed. (One thing to note if you haven't been back since we first launched-- there are three changes to the class rosters. Pixie Campbell has two fabulous workshops on offer during the Pixie session. Jonatha Brooke's Songwriting is only available during the Fall session and Judy Wise's class Make Your Own Journal, is only available on Friday of the Fall session).

Phew. Nothing like having our ducks all in a row.

Part of the reason we got a bit off task here is that the SAW team was also directly involved with the redesign of the freshly launched RDC site.

If you head over to check it out (and I believe it's well worth your while to do so) you will find the rather spectacular results of Noel Danforth's graphic design combined with Thea Coughlin's photography. And, if you are not familiar with the history of RDC, you can discover how it came to be here.

Although this photograph of the Longhouse porch shows open water, I took that just days before the lake froze. In fact, tomorrow, the RDC team will begin their annual ice harvest which is one of the last icing operations in New England.

So, two major website launches in ten days, but everything is now in place and we are thrilled with the response we've gotten to our 2010 programs-- thank you so much for your interest and enthusiasm! However, please remember that registration does not begin until February 1st and all forms must be postmarked on, or after, that date.

Outside, snow is falling.
Inside, a nap is calling.

Bisous, Elizabeth
