Amy Gretchen lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband and three daughters.
She is a self-taught photographer who has found a passion for capturing the details that make up her every day. Observing the world around her and finding the beauty in everything is a favorite challenge. And, it is these small moments of each day that inspire her to always keep a camera close at hand.
A firm believer that we can all better appreciate the beauty of life when seen through the camera lens, Amy Gretchen loves to teach and has taught photography workshops in New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Utah.
A few years ago, she began a marvelous challenge at her blog and continues to lead a group in this activity each month. Called the 12 of 12 challenge, the goal is to take daily photos that document daily life.
Amy Gretchen’s work has been seen in Simple Scrapbooks magazine and Creative Pilgrimage by Jenny Doh. She was also a part of the 2010 BlogHer’s Voices of the Year in NYC and the 2011 Girl Power 2 Cure Georgetown Gala.
