Karen Templer is best known as the blogger behind Fringe Association, a daily site about knitting and handmade style. Formally trained as a graphic designer, she worked for years as a producer and editor of websites, books and a magazine — but learning to knit put her on a whole new course.
Now she spends her days enabling, encouraging and equipping knitters through her blog, knitalongs, retreats and Fringe Supply Co., for which she both sources and designs fine tools and accessories. Her patterns have appeared on her website and in “Farm to Needle” and “Making” magazine.
