Maggie, a native to New Hampshire, started sewing at the age of 8. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Classics Degree, and then opened her first business in 2004, a wine and cheese shop.
After living in Rome for a year with her husband, she decided that she wanted to open a fabric and yarn shop.
She opened Pintuck and Purl in the town of Exeter NH in 2015.
In 2018, the shop moved to North Hampton and skyrocketed to being a top 10 BERNINA dealer in the North East, and became the BERNINA District Dealer of the Year in 2019.
Maggie is primarily a garment sewist and an avid knitter, but dabbles in quilting, bag making, and some home decor. Instagram: Pintuck & Purl
