Paula is a Brazilian knitter, designer and instructor.
She creates hand knit garments and accessories with a focus on textures, colors, shapes and interesting constructions. Currently living in Luanda, Angola with her husband, Paula finds inspiration everywhere she looks—especially in the art and architecture all around her which she often translates into knit stitches.
Her book Textured Knits (Laine Publishing) launched in 2023. It celebrates Paula’s love of color and her inventive approach to creating new stitches from traditional elements such as cables and embroidery.
