Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Yildiz Grodowski spent most of her life in the Boston area. These two cultures constantly enrich and inspire her.
In her early years, she designed sets for stage performances and residential interiors.
If she doesn’t find art, art finds her.
Prior to painting, Yildiz sculpted with clay. Then downsizing made her a painter. But in true form, Yildiz doesn’t know how to keep things small. From working with watercolors in the corner of a living room, and with multiple spaces in between, her paintings led her to a spacious studio.
An international award winner, her work is exhibited in solo and group shows, and collected both nationally and internationally. She is a member of both NAWA, National Association of Women Artists, and NAWA-MA, Massachusetts chapter, along with multiple other Art Associations.
