“I have been SO happy since coming back – I shared this with you in our email, but I have felt rejuvenated, inspired, energized, and with a self-acceptance I had been lacking before coming to Into the Mystic. I have made changes within my personal life, relationships, and even in how I interact with the world – and none of it would have occurred had I not come to Into the Mystic.”

Blessed. Sacred. This moment here.
A true full week of holiday that is both nurturing and life-changing.

Last August, 30 women came together for one full week. This was totally new on two counts: we’d never held such a small retreat and we’d never extended the gathering for such a rich amount of time. I did not know how it would go, but trusted it would be whatever each of us needed.

What I was not prepared for was how deep, sweet, fun and important this week together was. It really launched us onto new ground and the experience was wonderful with long-lasting ripples out into our lives. And so we are doing it again! One big change is the gathering is going to be held in a space we can have all to ourselves that is specifically designed to support the magic of our event.

MOST IMPORTANT! You must offer this week, yearly. I treasure getting to know people over this amount of time. The soul work was a real treasure. Thank you for giving us so much to think about. To be able to do inner exploration and then play with 2D and 3D materials was such a rich offering. I continue to fill my journal and explore different elements. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ” – Diane Vogt, Into the Mystic 2015

SEVEN DAYS AT SEVENOAKS…

SEVENOAKS is a beautiful retreat center on 120 acres at the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Virginia. Not only will we have the entire campus to ourselves to spread out and breathe deeply, there are some extra special treats including:

  • a labyrinth
  • fire pit
  • sweat lodges
  • magical walking trails
  • and 300 year old oaks!

We have the space to leave our art rooms up and available 24/7 so we can enjoy studio play anytime we want.

And best of all? There is an organic farm on the grounds that ensures our meals are both nurturing and in full alignment with the light and healing energies we are calling in to ourselves this week.

What will remain the same: the group will be small and, together, we will embark on a mystic exploration of what matters most to us through writing, art journaling, intuitive handwork and yoga.

The pace of the week is all about gentle, easy and nurturing energies. Each of the classes will weave from one to the next in a thoughtful way so the work you are doing is expanded and enriched from each of these different access points. We will be diving deep into our creativity and surfacing with a shining confidence in our voice, our purpose, our source of pleasure and our ability to carve a sweet path through the challenges of life.

These seven days will provide the space, support and inspiration
to clarify where you are, where you’ve been and how you want
things to feel as you move into the next phase of your life.

faq_page

I have attended Squam retreats in the past, how is this one different?

Well, for starters, it’s summertime! *fingers crossed* that means lots of sunshine and gentler temperature. Also, we will be in Virginia! At a gorgeous retreat designed for connecting with the Earth energies, with spirit, with ourselves.

It’s also a FULL SEVEN days! Heaven.

What art supplies do I need to bring?

Once you have registered, we will be in touch with more details, but for now, just know all materials will be supplied. Anything you bring will be for adding in personal, symbolic elements to your work that have particular personal meaning for you.

How many people will be part of the Into the Mystic gathering?

This is going to be a small group not to exceed 40.

What about meals? I have food allergies/ I am vegetarian/vegan.

SEVENOAKS is prepared to cater to various food allergies such as gluten or lactose-intolerance. Meals are offered buffet-style and always have a wide variety of options, including a huge organic salad bar with all the fixings. If in doubt about a dish, the staff is very helpful about asking the chef about the ingredients. In the past about 10% of our attendees have been gluten-free. Contact us if you have major concerns.

What other things should I bring?

Flashlight (with extra batteries) is a must-have. Also consider: camera, alarm clock, small reading light, ear plugs, bug repellant, bottle opener, hat, phone charger, travel mug, snacks (there is no cafe on campus for in-between meals).

May I attend just one day, one workshop or an evening event?

We are so sorry, but this is a full week event.

What contact information should I leave for my family?
