There is great power in identifying and celebrating the iconic self. Frida Kahlo and Georgia O’Keeffe were certainly no strangers to this impulse and in this mixed-media workshop, we are going to work with elements of color, shape and symbolism to bring one of your cherished icons into two-dimensional form.

Our time together is all about play and exploration as we clarify those qualities in ourself (or in someone we admire) and translate that energy into compelling imagery that comes directly from the heart.

This workshop is open to all levels. For those more experienced with collage, Rochelle’s expertise will offer you fresh challenges and technique. For anyone brand-new to working with mixed-media, Rochelle will provide the gentle groundwork to have you diving deeply into this meditative form of expression.
